02. Why would I host my application and not have it on premises?

03. Can I build my own VoiceXML Applications and have SmartSpeak host them?
Absolutely! Lot’s of SmartSpeak’s customers either manage their own applications by writing the source code themselves – or using a GUI interface, such as www.inference.com.au. When you set-up a SmartSpeak account, you are given access to Speak.Portal where you can login and manage your application, performance and reporting all in real-time. There is no additional cost or work required by SmartSpeak.
04. What about uptime? Do you offer an SLA?
SmartSpeak runs a completely redundant network to ensure we meet an uptime of 99.9% well above industry standards. In addition to this we offer a 15-minute SLA 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all year round. If a problem does arise, chances are it will be rectified before it causes you any pain. If this isn’t the case, SmartSpeak will rebate a % of your monthly service fee’s – that’s how confident we are!
05. Is the infrastructure redundant?
SmartSpeak operates a completely redundant network. We have POP (local Point of Presence) in Brisbane, Sydney, New Zealand & Singapore. All of our data centres are protected with the industry’s best power and air redundancy measures including redundant air conditioners and diesel power generators.
